Assembly
-
If you did not purchase a breaker/fuse and/or killswitch bracket you can skip to step 3
-
Install rivnuts on the sideplates for the hole patterns of the breaker/fuse and/or killswitch bracket This is illustrated in fig 1A to 1C. The rivnuts go in from the inside portion (side facing the battery) of the side brackets.
-
Install the accessory using the M4 hardware provided. If you have a 200 amp breaker or a Blue Sea fuse holder, these will need to drilled with a 6mm or 15/64 drill bit.
-
Install the cage nuts on the side plates. These clip on the rectangular cut out on the side plates. This will be the top side of the bracket. Install the top plate with the M6 cap screws - do not tighten all the way.
-
Place the battery on top of the bottom plate then place the partially assembled bracket (top plate and side plates) over the battery. Certain battery models will need the antivibration pads on the corners of the side plates and on the bottom plate. Install as needed.
-
Push the side brackets snug to the battery and install the side plates onto the bottom plate using the provided M6 hardware. The cap screws come up from the bottom of the plate with the serrated locking nuts on the top side of the side brackets.
-
Tighten the top plate by snugging the side brackets in and centering the cage nuts and M6 hardware.
-
If you have a killswitch, mount the killswitch from the bottom and place the bezel on top and use the M6 caps screws to install figure 2A. If you did not purchase the bezel, use the flanged nuts provided.
