Bracket Pre-assembly
Step 1) Assemble the left and right main plates (B) with the matching left and right L brackets (C). Use the silver M6x16mm Allen bolts and serrated flange nuts from the pack of silver hardware (G). Pay attention to the orientation pictured below with the 90 degree bracket behind the main plate and the Allen bolts coming from the back side of the plate.

Step 2) Install the light bracket C to the the L bracket B. Use the black M6x16mm Allen head flange bolts. Make sure to not tighten these all the way as it will need to be loose for adjustments later on.

Step 3) Bolt the Baja Designs LP6 Dot to bracket C using the hardware provided from Baja Designs. The bolts should be hand tight as the lights need to be able to pivot up and down for adjustments later.

Step 4) Repeat Steps 1-3 for the other side
Vehicle Disassembly/Assembly
Step 1: Remove the two fasteners with a 10mm socket or wrench. To remove the clips use a small flat head screw driver to pull up the lock pins on the clips.

Step 2: Remove trim piece This piece is held on by 3 clips.

Step 3: Remove Headlight Bolts Using 10mm Socket.

Step 4: Disconnect turn signal bulb by twisting it counter clockwise.

Step 5: Unplug harness from headlight.

Step 6: Use screwdriver to unclip the headlight.

Step 7: Pull the headlight away from the vehicle to remove the entire headlight assembly.

Step 8: Remove the turn signal light from the headlight by removing the 3x 8mm nuts. You may want to soak these with lubricant if corroded.
Step 9: Take the left turn signal light and attach it to the left bracket reusing the 2 nuts. Leave these nuts loose so it can slide around for adjustments later.

Step 10: Take the black plastic spacers from package H and place it on the receiving clip shown in the image below.
NOTE: Most aftermarket bumpers remove this bumper support. If you are not utilizing this bumper support, this step can be ignored.

Step 11: Place the entire assembly back on the vehicle. Start by lining up the turn signal light clips first and working your way to the bolt on the top of the core support.

Step 12: Reuse the fastener to loosely bolt in the top of the headlight bracket.

Step 13: Take the M8x1.25 flange bolt from bag H to bolt the bracket into the body of the vehicle. Leave this bolt loose for adjustments later on.
NOTE: This bolt hole was not used before on the OEM headlight. This thread may be difficult to run a bolt through. If that is the case, use some lubricant and a thread chaser or a tap to clean out the threads. Again the thread size for this is M8x1.25.

Step 14: Take the black M6 flange bolt and an M6 flange nut to loosely bolt in the bracket.

Step 15: Insert the green clip into the trim piece.

Step 16: Insert the black retaining clip into the hole shown below.

Step 17: Reuse the OEM bolt taken from this location to loosely hold in the bracket. The bolt goes through the bracket and plastic spacer we placed in Step 10.
NOTE: If your vehicle does not have the OEM bumper support, ignore this step.

Step 18: Reinstall the trim piece pushing the green clip into the black receiver and the 2 clips into the fender.

Step 19: Repeat Step 2-18 for the right hand side.
Step 20: Double check that there is still movement in both headlights. It should be able to slide left, right, in out, and pivot up/down.
Step 21: Reattach the grille to the vehicle. Make sure the nuts on the back of the turn signal lights are loose so the light can slide outwards for the grille to go on.

Step 22: Align the top tabs of the grille and reuse the bolts removed from here earlier to reattach the grille loosely.

Step 23: Reinstall the 2x clips on the edge of the grille and pop in the 3x clips on the bottom of the of the grille.
Step 24: Tighten the 2x 8mm nuts on the turn signals on both sides

Step 25: Adjust the Baja Designs LP6 DOT to center it in the grille opening. At this point you can select how far in or out the headlight sits on the vehicle. Tighten the 3 Allen bolts on the top of the headlight to lock it into place.

Step 26: Repeat Step 24 for the other headlight.
Step 27: With the headlight positioned, tighten the top of the bracket to the core support. Do this for both sides.

Step 28: Remove the grille and the corner trim pieces to torque down the rest of the bolts.
Step 29: Torque down the three bolts shown below.

Step 30: Plug the harness into the back of the LP6 DOT and into the OEM H4 Connector. There is a circle opening in the back of the bracket to get the plug through. The harnesses are interchangeable as they are identical.
